Music Department Goals

1. Expand students' knowledge of past and present cultures while learning to appreciate music in everyday life and develop a sense of aesthetics for the world around them.
2. To instill in all music students core values that will help them achieve success and develop their individual talents in the music classroom; motivation, teamwork, self discipline, good practice habits, and a life long appreciation for the arts.
3. As a department we will strive to be a vivid presence in the community, striving to promote all music and drama department activities which celebrate the success of our students.
